GT703 / GT704 touch terminal
Overview
The GT703 & GT704 series offer a high-quality display with improved screen readability. There are 16 different models available from the GT703 series and 8 different models from GT704. All models are IoT-capable thanks to the built-in Ethernet port. The three-color LED backlight (white, pink, red for the GT703M and green, orange, red for the GT704M) allows you to identify the machine status at a glance. All models are equipped with a USB programming port and an SD memory card slot.
Enhanced network capability
It is now possible to display and simultaneous log data with multiple PLCs from the FP or FP7 series in a network. Data from PLC programs and registers can be saved to the GT’s internal memory or on SD memory cards.
Edit screens & PLC programs via Ethernet
Another new feature is the possibility to edit data on multiple GT touch terminals or change PLC programs via Ethernet communication. Besides updating the firmware and transfer screen data using GTWIN, you can now use Control FPWIN Pro to edit the programs on the PLCs from our FP series directly through the touch terminals if they are connected via the built-in Ethernet port.
Easy data acquisition via Ethernet
With a dedicated software tool it is possible to read data from the GT touch terminals and their SD memory cards. Information from multiple touch terminals can be transferred to a host PC via Ethernet.
Dedicated software tools installed together with GTWIN on a PC:
- The tool “GT Memory Editor” is used for monitoring the status of the system connected to the GT touch terminal. It is able to read data stored in the GT’s memory.
- The tool “GT_SD Reader” is used to ensure traceability. It acquires data stored in the SD memory card inside the GT touch terminal.
