The Low Profile Type may be small, but is very powerful! It is suitable for maximum detection distances of up to 5m in case of wall mounting and typical ceiling installation heights of up to 3m.

Typical Use Cases

This PIR is used in ultra-slim devices such as thermostats, smart home sensors, or slim luminaires with 16mm or 11mm drivers. The lens also has a small step that can be used as a mechanical stop to avoid a shadow gap or simply as an O-ring holder.

The EKMB series (1µA, 2µA, 6µA, digital) can be used for battery-powered devices, and the EKMC series (170µA, digital and analog) for wired applications.

All sensors are available in the following colors:

  • White
  • Black
  • Pearl white
