Horizontally Wide Detection Type - with a horizontal FOV of 150°
Typical Use Cases
This PIR is used in wall-mounted devices such as thermostats, wall switches, or smart home sensors. The sensor can be also used as an intrusion alarm sensor for doors or windows. Using a mask, a kind of pet immunity function can be realized. Furthermore, the sensor can be integrated into the end product in two different ways. If you want to use the complete horizontal viewing angle of 150°, the sensor protrudes slightly from the product. If a viewing angle of 122° is sufficient, the sensor no longer protrudes from the product, so the sensor can completely merge with the product surface.
The EKMB series (1µA, 2µA, 6µA, digital) can be used for battery-powered devices, and the EKMC series (170µA, digital and analog) for wired applications.
