Berg Hortimotive
Berg Hortimotive are specialists in logistics solutions for greenhouse horticulture, based in De Lier in South Holland. They improve and speed up processes in greenhouses along with crop protection, where the company supports entrepreneurs with the (fully) automatic BeMatic Meto spray robots, among other things.
Because deliveries failed
The Metos are state of the art, including a sophisticated interplay of control components. But when deliveries of those components failed to materialize, Berg Hortimotive had to deal with a globally disrupted supply chain. As a result, the company had to move fast, looked for alternatives and ended up collaborating with Panasonic Industry. Not just for the supply of products, but also to help think about a new control system for the Metos.
Completely new controls
