DJW 2023

The Japanese-German Business Association (Deutsch Japanischer Wirtschaftskreis, DJW), the biggest, national business platform for Japanese-German aspects, will host their annual DJW symposium at the CXC.
The highlight of the DJW event calendar features the topic: “Smart City becomes reality – How Japan and Germany sustainably connect multidimensional transport routes”.

The cities of the future will face challenges related to changing environments, technology, resident expectations, and shifting demographics. These challenges can be proactively addressed by using sensor technology to gather data on traffic, parking, air quality, and transportation options.

The effective use of data can enable connectivity across transportation modes. The key to successful urban planning lies in prioritizing the well-being of residents and integrating their needs into the vision for the future of cities.
