Electronic Materials tests start on the ISS

A range of state-of-the-art electronic materials from Panasonic Industry arrived at the International Space Station on March 15, 2023, to be exposed to space environment for three months. These space exposure experiments will provide essential data about the circuit board materials MEGTRON, XPEDION, HIPER V, FELIOS, as well as the semiconductor package substrate material LEXCM GX and the underfil material LEXCM DF. After three months of exposure to conditions like microgravity, high vacuum, cosmic radiation, and vast temperature changes, Panasonic Industry will assess the impact of space environment on its products.
