WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive global accounts payable strategy, including invoice processing, payment management, vendor relations, and compliance
  • Lead initiatives to improve the efficiency, accuracy, and effectiveness of accounts payable processes worldwide
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers, negotiating favorable terms and resolving payment issues promptly
  • Oversee global invoice processing, ensuring invoices are accurately recorded, approved, and paid on time
  • Manage payment processes in compliance with financial policies and contractual agreements
  • Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations, industry standards, and internal policies, including tax and withholding requirements
  • Supervise the processing of employee expense reports, ensuring timely reimbursement and compliance with expense policies
  • Lead efforts to automate accounts payable processes, utilizing technology solutions to reduce manual work and enhance control
  • Collaborate with procurement, finance, and other departments to streamline the procure-to-pay process and improve overall operational efficiency
  • Prepare and present regular accounts payable reports to senior management, highlighting key metrics, trends, and areas for improvement.
  • Conduct vendor audits and reviews to ensure compliance with contractual terms and pricing agreements

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Extensive experience in global accounts payable management, including vendor relations, invoice processing, and payment management
  • Knowledge of relevant legal requirements in this field
  • Proven leadership capabilities in guiding, supporting and development your team members
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • SAP S/4 HANA experience
  • Business fluent command of both German and English
